• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers
• Messages: Communications between users through our messaging system

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and browser type
• Pages visited and time spent on the Platform
• UTM parameters and referral sources
• Device and operating system information

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process bookings and payments
• To send booking confirmations and important notifications
• To facilitate communication between Owners and Renters
• To improve our Platform and user experience
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

3. How We Share Your Information

With other users:

When you make a booking, your name and contact information may be shared with the warehouse Owner. When you list a warehouse, your listing information is publicly visible on the Platform.

With service providers:

• Stripe: Payment processing and Connect payouts. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
• Supabase: Database and authentication services
• Resend: Email delivery
• Vercel: Platform hosting

We do not:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Share your information for third-party advertising
• Use your data for purposes unrelated to operating the Platform

4. Payment Data

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. PalletPort does not store full credit card numbers or banking credentials. When you connect a bank account as an Owner, your banking information is stored and managed by Stripe under their security standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@palletport.co.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
